Recipe Details

45 minutes

Ingredients

4 cups Corn Chex
4 cups Rice Chex
4 cups Crispix
pecan halves, to taste
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

  2. In a large roasting pan, combine all cereal and pecan halves.

  3. In a saucepan, bring the margarine and brown sugar to a boil.

  4. Pour over the cereal mixture.

  5. Bake for about 45 minutes stirring once or twice.

  6. Store in airtight container.

Amazing!!!! I have used this recipe for years. People always want the recipe. They can't believe it is so easy. I make at least two batches when I make it. It is great for traveling and knowing your getting protein-- I add lots of pecans. I love it with dark brown sugar and a splash of vanilla. It is wonderful to use up the open cereal. One friend added pretzels and said it was addicting.
