Throughout the year, I gather pinecones so I can decorate my home with them during the holidays. If you like woody cones as I do, but don’t have the space to hoard basketfuls of them, you’ll enjoy this Pinecones Field Guide Print. Featuring fifteen different varieties found in North America, the cones are laid out on a crisp white background, which gives me the feeling that I’m looking at these pinecones in a bed of snow! This would be a lovely gift for any of your nature-loving friends.
What a unique spin on a gift tag! This letterpress-printed tag brings to mind a vintage luggage tag. With striking typography and festive details, this is perfect for any gift-giving Brooklynites. If I was from Brooklyn, I would attach one of these tags to the packaging of any homemade baked goods I gave as Christmas presents!
The Unofficial Harry Potter Christmas Kit is so fun! It contains everything you need to wrap gifts for your friends and family members who would prefer a foaming tankard of butterbeer to a mug of cocoa. The kit includes “Owl Post” gift stickers, assorted Harry Potter Christmas cards, Hogwarts greeting cards, Hogwarts gift tags, and “Charmed—Handle with Care” stickers.
Any recipient of this dreaming deer Christmas card would be pleased to open such an elegant, yet whimsical, holiday greeting. A single red robin is perched on the deer’s berry-filled antlers as if to keep him company. Printed on cotton rag paper with archival inks, this lovely design will last for years to come. Simply place the card in a frame and mix it into one’s holiday decor.
This 10" by 10" burlap canvas is just delightful! I love its simple design and whimsical calligraphy—plus the wee sprig of mistletoe is so darling. This piece of art would make a nice holiday gift for any Southerner on your list. If you want to share this festive message with several folks, you’ll be happy to know that the design is also available on a greeting card.
Right now I’m head over heels for anything wool! (If you saw the wool blanket I highlighted a few days ago, maybe you will be, too. ) This fuzzy little fawn is needle-felted onto fabric and surrounded by hand-stitched trees and stars. The willow wreath frames the design, adding to its woodland charm. Whether placed on a wall, a shelf, or a Christmas tree, this lovely hoop art will add a whimsical touch wherever it goes!
This delightful reindeer finger puppet is sporting a festive red hoodie complete with white pompoms. The reindeer’s face and antlers were needled felted with pure wool, and his hoodie was hand-knitted. A wonderful gift for a child who loves Christmas, this finger puppet could also be used as a cheery pen or pencil topper for children and adults alike. Also available as an ornament.
Y’all, look at these! Besides the ornaments we have in the Craft Cottage, these are some of the most adorable felt ornaments I have ever laid my eyes on. Amazingly kawaii, each one looks like a darling gingerbread cookie. I can’t decide which one is my favourite, but I’m partial to the snowman, mug of cocoa, and gingerbread man. If you fancy these, check out My Magic Felt’s other Christmas ornaments—they’re equally precious!
These Christmas tree sugar cookie earrings will make a good gift for someone who loves to bake or has a sweet tooth. Since I adore sweets and enjoy baking, it’s obvious why I like these earrings so much! I especially like that the sprinkles are pastels, which makes them a subtler Christmas accessory than my ugly Christmas sweater.
